Obsidian Mobile Car Detailing

I would not recommend Obsidian Car Detailing based on my experience. There was no visible paint chip in this area before the detail. When the car was returned to me, the detailer walked me through the vehicle and did not mention any damage or issue whatsoever. I noticed the missing paint myself afterward and had to bring it up. Only after I questioned him about it did he admit by text that, while washing the car with a sponge, he caught the paint and caused paint to come off. He then said there had been a small pre-existing chip there, although I had never seen one before the service. My biggest issue is that regardless of his explanation about what may or may not have been there beforehand, he knew that paint came off while he was working on my car and chose not to tell me when he returned the vehicle. I had to discover the damage myself and ask him about it before he disclosed what happened. He apologized afterward, but I expect a professional detailer to immediately tell a customer if something happens to their vehicle while it is in their care. I would not trust this business with my vehicle again.

Unfortunately, my experience with this business was very disappointing. I paid for the service upfront because I had another appointment and trusted that the work would be completed as discussed. When I returned, I found out several dirty spots including the floor mats and between the seat and center console. I reached out multiple times and my messages were ignored, I was left on read, and the issue was never resolved despite giving them several opportunities to make it right. Based on my experience, you get what you pay for. I cannot recommend this company and would encourage potential customers to do their research before hiring them.

Here’s a factual, firm version that avoids anything potentially defamatory while still documenting your experience clearly: I used this mobile detailing company last Wednesday for a full interior detail on my vehicle, and unfortunately my experience was very concerning. Immediately after the detailing was completed, my van displayed a warning message stating there was a malfunction involving the engine, throttle, or transmission system. The vehicle initially would not start and required a jump. Prior to the detailing, the vehicle had not been experiencing these issues. In addition, several areas of the vehicle were not thoroughly cleaned despite paying for a detail service. The rear cargo area still had visible debris and staining, seats were not moved to clean underneath, and parts of the interior appeared only lightly vacuumed. I reached out to the company multiple times to notify them of the issue and attempt to resolve things professionally, but I never received a response. Afterward, I was unable to contact them through Facebook messaging, and the business page/profile became inaccessible to me. I also was unable to locate any Better Business Bureau information for the com

Amazing service from start to finish. The team was professional, on time, and extremely detail-oriented. My car looks brand new inside and out — even areas I didn’t expect were spotless.

Flawless work. My car looks better than when I bought it. Professional, precise, and clearly passionate about quality. This is not basic detailing — this is premium service.
